MRF Structure

Medical Review Board

The Medical Review Board is made up of 4 prominent doctors in the cancer research field who are not grant recipients. This group reviews grant proposals in writing and at meetings of the organization and makes recommendations to the Management Board on funding decisions. The Review Board also participates in a semi-annual review of the progress of the various funded groups to make sure their efforts remained focused and effective.

It currently consists of the following people:

Dr. Robert Kyle

Dr. Kyle is widely recognized as one of the world's foremost experts in Multiple Myeloma. He is at the Mayo Clinic.

Dr. Lawrence Leung

Dr. Leung us the chairman of the Department of Hematology at Stanford Medical Shool. He is an expert in blood cancers

Dr. Ronald Levy

Dr. Levy is professor of Oncology at Stanford Medical School.
